Jinli

Jinli is an ideal destination to experience the culture of the Three Kingdoms and the authentic local atmosphere of old Chengdu, located on Wuhou Temple Street in Wuhou District, Chengdu, just a wall away from the Wuhou Temple. This ancient street, styled after the Ming and Qing dynasties, stretches 550 meters long and is connected by inns, teahouses, restaurants, performance stages, and folk craft shops. 'Pay respects to Zhuge Liang, explore Jinli' has become a classic combination for visiting Chengdu. Under the night sky, red lanterns hang high, and the sounds of Sichuan opera gongs and drums, the aroma of tangyouguo (sugar-coated glutinous rice balls), and the clinking of ear-piercing copper rods from street barber stalls blend into the most authentic scene of Bashu urban life. Here you can taste famous Chengdu snacks such as Zhang Fei beef, San Da Pao, and sugar painting, or enjoy intangible cultural heritage performances like shadow puppetry and dough figurine making. It is a must-visit place to experience the perfect fusion of 'old Chengdu and new Chengdu'.
