Wuhou Shrine

Wuhou Shrine is a sacred site dedicated to Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei, and a place to appreciate the culture of the Three Kingdoms. Located at No. 231 Wuhou Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, it is China's only temple where both emperor and minister are worshipped together. The shrine features ancient cypresses, and consists of buildings such as Hui Mausoleum, Han Zhao Lie Temple, Wuhou Shrine, and San Yi Temple. The Hall of Zhuge Liang, the archway gate, and the lakes and forests in the western area complement each other beautifully. Originally the site of Liu Bei's Hui Mausoleum (a joint tomb for the three family members), it later merged with the temple honoring Zhuge Liang, forming the core symbol of 'Three Kingdoms culture.' The shrine blends seamlessly with the nearby Jinli Ancient Street, offering the perfect combination for experiencing the drama of the Shu Han era and the everyday charm of old Chengdu.
