Dongfeng Yan - Qianfo Rock

The Dongfeng Yan, a UNESCO World Heritage site for irrigation engineering, was originally constructed in the first year of Kangxi's reign during the Qing Dynasty, diverting water from the Qingyi River to irrigate farmland; the Qianfo Rock features more than 100 cliff carvings dating back to the Sui and Tang dynasties, with approximately 2,400 statues, forming a harmonious ensemble together with the ancient dyke and the Zen-inspired old street.
