Jiuzhaigou Scenic and Historic Area

Jiuzhaigou Scenic and Historic Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve. Named after nine Tibetan villages located within the valleys, it is known as the "Land of Fairy Tales" and the "King of Water Scenery." The area is renowned for its five unique features: emerald lakes, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped peaks, and Tibetan culture. Scenic spots such as Wuhua Sea, Wucai Chi, Nuorilang Waterfall, and Changhai are like paintings, with crystal-clear waters that shift in color with light and seasons. The region boasts rich biodiversity and serves as a home to rare animals such as giant pandas and golden snub-nosed monkeys. In autumn, the vibrant forest colors reflect beautifully on the clear waters, creating a paradise on earth—ideal for photography, sightseeing, and ecotourism.
