Day One
Bi Feng Xia · A Meeting in the Canyon and with Pandas
Waterfalls cascade, life thrives in harmony
08:00 Depart from Chengdu heading to Ya'an.
11:00 Arrive at Bi Feng Xia Scenic Area. Bi Feng Xia consists of two canyons—left and right—deep and densely forested, with cascading waterfalls, earning it the nickname 'Lungs of Tianfu.' Under professional guidance, begin your exploration: White Dragon Pond, the multi-tiered Qian Ceng Yan Waterfall sparkles with splashing droplets; winding canyon trails lead deep into the heart of nature, where babbling streams and birdsong never cease.
Afternoon visit to the Bi Feng Xia Giant Panda Base—the homeland of many national treasures and a key site for panda rewilding. Observe pandas playing, eating, and climbing up close; lucky visitors may even catch a glimpse of panda cubs. The adjacent wildlife park also features rare species such as golden snub-nosed monkeys, red pandas, and black bears.
Dinner followed by check-in at a hotel in Ya'an city. Enjoy the slow-paced evening atmosphere of this charming small town.

Day Two
Meng Ding Mountain · Journey to the Hometown of the Tea Ancestor
A Thousand Years of Tea Fragrance
09:00 After breakfast, depart for Meng Ding Mountain (approx. 40 minutes by car). Meng Ding Mountain is the birthplace of global tea culture. Since the Western Han Dynasty, Tea Ancestor Wu Li Zhen began cultivating tea here, pioneering artificial tea planting worldwide. Later, the famous line emerged: 'The heart of the Yangtze River’s water, tea from the peak of Meng Ding Mountain.'
Visit historic sites including Tian Gai Temple, Imperial Tea Garden, Gan Lu Stone Chamber, and Meng Quan Courtyard. Ancient ginkgo trees and towering cypress trees surround the temples. The Imperial Tea Garden, believed to be a sacred site for ancient imperial tea rituals, still features neat tea fields and lingering tea fragrance.
Special tea experience arranged: hand-pick one bud and one leaf in the tea garden, observe traditional handmade tea processing (fixing, rolling, drying), listen to a guide explaining the origins and customs of Chinese tea culture, then savor a cup of Meng Ding Gan Lu or Huang Ya tea at a tea ceremony table—flavors linger on your palate.
Later, freely explore Ya'an’s local specialty market, where you can taste dishes like claypot Ya Fish and tea-fried eggs.
18:00 Trip concludes, return to Chengdu by vehicle.
