Erlang Mountain Lao'nahe Scenic Area

Lao'nahe Scenic Area lies at the foot of Erlang Mountain and upstream of Qingyi River, serving as a national forest park and nature reserve in China. Renowned for its primeval forests, alpine rhododendrons, waterfalls, hot springs, and rare flora and fauna, the area is home to wildlife such as giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, and takin. Scenic spots including Luming Stream, Suogudan Forest, Red Stone Beach, and Yindonghai are strung together like pearls, with the autumn foliage creating particularly magnificent views. The region boasts well-preserved ecology and high levels of negative oxygen ions, making it an ideal destination for summer retreats, birdwatching, hiking, and ecological research.
