Shangli Ancient Town

Shangli Ancient Town has a history of over two thousand years and was an important stop along the Southern Silk Road and the Tea Horse Road. Nestled against mountains and beside rivers, the town is encircled by two small streams. Ming and Qing dynasty stilt houses and century-old stone arch bridges are clustered together, showcasing the unique culture of five prominent families known as 'Yang's Peak, Han's Silver, Chen's Grain.' Ancient sites such as the Twin Filial Piety Archway, Han Family Courtyard, Old Opera Stage, Wenfeng Pagoda, and Red Army Stone Carvings are scattered throughout. Strolling through the cobblestone alleyways, you can experience the authentic Sichuan West urban life, making it an ideal destination for photography, relaxation, and cultural exploration. The main street of the ancient town is open free of charge all day, with fewer visitors, quiet atmosphere, and strong ambiance.
